3 FOLLOW-UP SELF-TEST: GENERAL FEATURES

– Goals: assess your finger strength and specific endurance.

– Duration: 2 days, although they may be done, with enough experience and a good climbing level, in only one day.

– Features: they are the regular self-tests to be carried out, except when it’s the first time you test yourself or when you need to evaluate your occlusion threshold (OT). Follow-up self-tests use the OT obtained during the last initial self-test. Since they require fewer days to be performed, you can do them many times along the season, as they will not interfere much with your day-to-day training dynamic, and will provide you with valuable information to orientate your workouts.
